Tri-City Tumbles Again, Falls, 4-0, to Redmond
|
Starting pitcher Billy Ray Murphy had a solid game. He was a big reason the Redmond Rattlers throttled the Tri-City Dust Devils, 4-0. Murphy, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 3 walks. The losing skid has reached 8 games for Tri-City.
With one out in the bottom of the fifth, Ferdinand Pérez put Redmond in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Rattlers went on to win the ballgame.
"This losing is getting old," said Tri-City manager Bob Kaiser.
