Cavalry Need Extra Frames to Get Past Hawks
A 4-RBI performance from Paxton Grover, who is tied for 3rd in the NWL in bases on balls with 23, helped the New Westminster Cavalry beat the Boise Hawks, 8-4. The save went to Jack Kopec, his 2nd this season. The Cavalry bumped their record to 24-24 with this win.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Anthony Muth came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Boise pitcher Chase McCormick, he hit a first pitch cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting New Westminster on top, 5-4.
