The Yakima Valley Pippins used an offensive barrage to beat the Redmond Rattlers, 10-0, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Stef Cox led the way, going 2-for-4 for Yakima Valley. Teodoro Espinosa, the winner, improved to 4-5. He held the Rattlers to no runs on 4 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 2. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Redmond.

Connor Jonaitis was 2-4 with 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for Yakima Valley. The 21-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Nolan Byerly. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

Redmond manager Ethan Quinn called the blowout loss "a real dud."
