In a low-scoring affair between the Danville Braves and the Reidsville Red Sox, pitcher Ralph Olah was the difference between victory and defeat. The Danville right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-0 Braves win. Howard Gates picked up his 2nd save of the season. With the win, Danville improves its record to 3-2.
