Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Indians
|
Pulaski wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Maxwell Hight, falling to the Kinston Indians, 4-3. Hight threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Daniel Marroquin earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record is now 1-1. At 9-4, the Indians have played well so far.
Dallas Dicks was the walk-off hero for Kinston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Indians left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This place was electric at the end," Dicks said.
