Elizabethton pitcher Jake Aseng did his part in helping his team beat the Erwin Mountaineers, 10-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The Twins now have a record of 13-12 with the win over Erwin.

In the bottom of the second, Elizabethton second baseman Colin Young had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Young stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 3-1, Elizabethton. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.
