Blue Ridge second baseman Henry J. Shipman had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Burlington Royals at Burlington Athletic Stadium as the Bulldogs picked up a win, 29-3.

"He was patient up there," Blue Ridge skipper Wynn Love told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Shipman has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Henry J. Shipman hit a two-run home run off Victor Resendez in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Stewart Ozuna in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
