Gauge Taylor earned the win, while 19-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Peterson took the loss for Pulaski. The 8th-place Yankees have dropped 9 straight games.

Reidsville third baseman Valois Alexander contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a cutter to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 31st hit of the season and put the Red Sox ahead, 5-2.
