The Harlan Smokies topped the Pocatello Pioneers by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Ryder Engler. Engler went 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs for the Smokies on the day. The loss makes the Pioneers 5-9.

The Smokies procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Randy Mitchell. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Engler.
