The Helena Brewers took Danville pitcher Asher Clark's best shot and still were able to claim a win at American Legion Field. The final score had Helena getting past the Braves, 6-4. Clark went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 3. Helena goes to 11-4, Danville to 7-8.

Helena needed the clutch hitting of Benton Kiser to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Brewers on top, 6-3. For the game, Kiser had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Kiser.
