Orioles Pop Stampede, 10-3
The Hampton Orioles coasted to a win over the Medicine Hat Stampede, 10-3. Josh Schuttler had a good day at the plate for Hampton. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. Quint Anders, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-0. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Daniel Baley closed it out for his 1st save.

The result might have been different, had it not been for Caleb Wilson, the Hampton left fielder. Wilson had a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Orioles ahead, 8-3. For the game, Wilson had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

Wilson told a Hampton Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

With the win, Hampton pushed its record to 11-9.
