Pulaski Keeps Spiraling Downward
Pulaski center fielder B.J. Caron had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Caron went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, even as Welch beat the Yankees, 8-7. The winning pitcher was Parker Loges. He's now 3-3. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits for the Miners. Rodrigo Amaya wrapped it up, recording his 14th save.

Jeffrey Slaughter helped out the Welch cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We've got to kick it in gear soon," said Pulaski manager Roarke Kapp.

The misery never ends for the Yankees, who've lost 21 in a row.
