Missoula Mettle Tested in Tight 2-1 Win
|
Harlan pitcher Lee Fuentez gave the Osprey all they could handle, but in the end, Missoula left Ogren Park at Allegiance Field with a win, 2-1. Fuentez allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 6.1 innings. Missoula, with the win, is 5-17.
The Osprey procured the win, in large part because of catcher Mohammad Rufus. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Harlan manager Carson Lee.
