Pueblo Beats Burlington, 5-0
|
Pueblo Indians starter Puddy Ralph was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Burlington Royals, 5-0. Ralph, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 3 walks. With the win over Burlington, the Indians improved to 10-13.
Jeremy Bath made an early impact for Pueblo when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which came with two out in the top of the second, put the Indians on top, 2-0.
"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Ralph told the Pueblo Chronicle. "But we take nothing for granted."
