Blue Ridge got a terrific game from left fielder Ramón Salazar. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Delco, 7-4. Salazar slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Delco starter Trent Galloway was credited with the win after throwing 88 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 4-0. Allen Riggle finished to wrap up his 14th save.

Jensen Brewer hit a 2-run triple off Jay Oliver in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Jawns in front, 6-4. Brewer had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Brewer told the Delco Citizen.

Delco is now 34-15.
