Jon Larson had a hand in Bristol defeating Burlington by the score of 8-1. Larson went 2 for 4 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 3 runs. Jeffrén Jiménez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Marvin Gama was tagged with the loss. The win makes Bristol 14-42, nothing to write home about.

With Bristol leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Larson hit a fastball from Marvin Gama for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Pirates ahead, 3-0.
