Stephen Ferdinand had a 3-RBI game, during Medicine Hat's 4-2 triumph over the Kinston Indians. Ferdinand contributed 1 single and 1 home run to the cause. The winner was Medicine Hat reliever Mark Godwin, now 3-1. The loser was Uwain Rutledge. Medicine Hat is now 21-9, 3½ games up in the Pioneer League North Division.
Ferdinand had a timely hit for Medicine Hat in the top of the seventh. With Kinston trailing 2-1, he turned a 0-2 changeup into a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season, making it 4-2, Medicine Hat.
