Mountaineers Fell Voyagers, 4-2
|
Erwin starter Brantley Corriveau pitched well against the Great Falls Voyagers at Ballpark of Edmonton. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Jim Hemstreet picked up the save for Erwin, his 5th of the year. The Mountaineers saw their win-loss record go to 20-14. At the same time, the Voyagers fell to 18-16.
Erwin took a 4-0 lead on Christian Kenville's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Great Falls pitcher Burton Susanti in the bottom of the eighth.
"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Corriveau.
