Voyagers Clip Cannons, 2-1
|
Ben McPherson pitched a gem to lead Great Falls to victory over the Calgary Cannons, 2-1. With the win, the Voyagers hiked their record to 20-16.
The Voyagers got a big at-bat from third baseman Danys Harper. For the game, Harper went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Great Falls a 2-0 lead.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said McPherson.
