Great Stroke: Ledezma Gets 5 Hits
After a 5-hit effort to lead Billings's 11-10 victory over the Missoula Osprey, third baseman César Ledezma told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."

"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Rookie Advanced-level is really something special."

The 21-year-old player earned his accolades at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Osprey.

"His swing is getting there," said Mustangs skipper Todd Cabo, who spoke glowingly of Ledezma after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. César did that to perfection."

César Ledezma doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
