In a tight contest at PepsiCo Park, the Indianapolis Ignition edged the Colorado Rockies by the score of 8-7. Indianapolis shortstop Elton Dacuno, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The win has Indianapolis at 17-11.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Ignition grabbed the lead when Dacuno hit his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Dave Dau made it 8-5, Indianapolis.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Colorado manager René Ortíz. "But we decided not to take it."
