Bulldogs Suffer 6-2 Setback
The Blue Ridge Bulldogs got a superb performance from pitcher Axton O'Brien, but the Casper Ghosts still won the game, 6-2. O'Brien threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Reliever Walter Valiente picked up the win. His record improves to 4-0. Charlie Penney took the loss. The victory gives Casper a record of 27-16.

Casper used a clutch hit from Holden Comer to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ghosts ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a doozy.

"I thought we played a nice game," Comer told the Casper Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
