Indians K-O Braves, 3-0
|
Getting an impressive start from Puddy Ralph, Pueblo beat Danville by the score of 3-0. The Indians are now 22-25, while the Braves fall to 24-23.
The Braves had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Indians going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old catcher Jeremy Bath came to the plate. Bath hit a 3-run home run on a first pitch slider from Danville hurler Jayce Walker. It was Bath's 3rd home run of the year.
"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Bath.
