Houston Loses, 10-8, in 10
Houston got a terrific game from center fielder Lee Quintana. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Chicago, 10-8, in 10 innings. Quintana went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The win belonged to Max Gilchrist in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Greg Heald took the loss for Houston. The Astros, now 9-20, continue their inauspicious start.

Gunnar Whisenant drew 2 walks in 2 plate appearances for Chicago. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring walk off Greg Heald. It was his 6th walk of the season.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Whisenant.
