Helena Brewers starter Amo Paxton turned in a top-notch performance against the Calgary Cannons at Kindrick Legion Field. The result was a win for the Brewers, 4-0. The 4th-place Brewers improved to 14-13.

Blake Lucas hit a run-scoring double off Marshall Bonner in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Brewers in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Lucas had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Calgary skipper T.J. Blackwell, "and it cost us."
