|
No one was more impactful than Stephen Ferdinand in the 6-2 Medicine Hat win over Reidsville. Ferdinand, who is tied for 3rd in the PIO with a 1.005 OPS, went 1 for 2 with 2 walks. The Stampede got a big at-bat from center fielder Evan Boyer. For the game, Boyer was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Medicine Hat a 2-1 lead.
"We had a nice day," said Medicine Hat skipper Andy Rodgers.
