Led by Cal Kooijmans, the Medicine Hat Stampede downed the Raleigh Cubs, 12-5. Kooijmans was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for the Stampede. Brent Charles earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 6-0.
