Voyagers Snag 10-8 Win
The inspired effort of Helena second baseman Saul Watson was not enough to prevent a loss, 10-8, to the Great Falls Voyagers. Watson was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The win was credited to Michael Gansen in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Johnny Noga took the loss. Mark Schenk nailed down his 3rd save.

Creed Jones went 1 for 3 with a walk for Great Falls. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Johnny Noga. It was his 6th RBI of the season.

"Good team win," Jones said. "I love it when a plan comes together."

Their 21-10 record puts the Voyagers first in the Pioneer League North Division.
