The Toronto Blue Jays locked up a win at Kauffman Stadium, knocking off the London Royals, 7-1. On the mound for Toronto was left-hander Jacob Olsen. He played a major role in the triumph. Olsen, now 3-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. With the loss, London drops to 14-16.

Toronto used a well-timed hit by Norbert Basquez to capture the win. The catcher socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 5-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Jacob set the tone," said Jaden Bishop, the Blue Jays manager.
