Casper took on Ogden in front of a lively crowd.
The Casper Ghosts beat the Ogden Raptors, 6-4, at Casper Ballpark. Casper right fielder Cristopher Motley had the hot bat. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Anderson Leonetti, the winner, improved to 5-0. He held Ogden to no runs on 2 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Roque Flores collected save number 9.
Casper grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Motley hit a run-scoring triple off Reginald Jiménez. His 1st triple of the season put the Ghosts out in front, 1-0.
"Good, blue-collar kind of win," said Ghosts manager Nataniel Lechuga.
With the victory, the Ghosts record stands at 19-12.
