Big Day by Koyanagi Ignites Stampede Win
|
A 3-RBI performance from second baseman Christopher Koyanagi led the Medicine Hat Stampede to a win over the Ogden Raptors, 8-6. The last-place Stampede hiked their record to 13-31.
Koyanagi contributed in the top of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Medicine Hat get the win.
"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said Medicine Hat manager Ollie Jordan.
