Stanley Gamble knocked in 8 runs to help Texas beat Fresno, 10-3. Gamble produced 1 single, 1 double, and 2 home runs. The Rangers raised their record to 22-9.

With Texas trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Gamble hit a sinker from Danny Lennox for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 3-2.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Chase Barnes.
