The Chicago White Sox cut down the Baltimore Orioles by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Emerson Faust. Faust was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the White Sox. Cody Woten got the win, improving to 8-10. He worked 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Faust had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 0-1 sinker from Carl Pedersen, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the White Sox a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Faust.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Faust told a Chicago Daily reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
