The California Angels coasted to a win over the Portland Hops, 10-2. Kayden Oldham had a good day at the plate for California. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Angels improved their record to 67-70 with the win over Portland.

With California leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Oldham hit a run-scoring single off Portland hurler Linc Gemmell. It was the 142nd hit of the season for Oldham and put his team ahead, 2-0.

"Nothing to write home about," Portland manager Nelson Espinoza said, when asked afterward about the game.
