Ports Suffer One-Run Loss at Lake Elsinore
Stockton first baseman Jace Stebbins was sensational. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Lake Elsinore beat the Ports, 5-4. The winner in relief was Saul Banks. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. The setback makes the Ports 5-9.

In the bottom of the 6th, designated hitter Kasen Muir gave Lake Elsinore the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Storm had been trailing 4-3, but the two-out single off Stockton pitcher Woody Willis changed that -- and Lake Elsinore went on to win.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Stockton manager Tristan Batista.
