The Portland Hops knocked off the Indianapolis Ignition, 6-3, at PepsiCo Park. Rudy Cassarino was a big reason Portland won. The second baseman was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Portland reliever T.J. Henderson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Ayden Faber absorbed the loss. Aiden Bennetch closed out the game, earning his 14th save.

Cassarino had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Jayson Bail, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Hops a 6-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Cassarino.

"Good team win," Cassarino said. "I love it when a plan comes together."

With the win, Portland raised its record to 20-17.
