Ross Heroics Not Enough in 11-7 Loss to London
Conditions were not ideal but London and Minnesota were able to put their game in the books.

Minnesota third baseman Tyler Ross pounded London Royals pitchers at Target Field, but it was not enough to keep the Twins from falling, 11-7. Ross was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. London pitcher Kevin Kuntz earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Francis Chairez suffered the loss. Zion Ryan notched his 2nd save of the season.

London used the hitting of Eric Bennett to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Royals on top, 6-5. For the game, Bennett had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"I know we have our doubters," said Minnesota manager Connor Sandstrom. "But I still have high hopes for this team."

With the victory, the Royals record stands at 17-23.
