Zuleger Delivers 8-0 Win
Ryan Zuleger was superb against Virginia. The left-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the EAST with a 0.93 WHIP, had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Mets victory. The score was 8-0. The Mets now have a record of 21-19 with the win over Virginia.

Virginia had little success against Zuleger and his slider. Zuleger tossed 84 pitches over 6.1 innings for the Mets.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Virginia manager Jacob Crenshaw.
