The Montreal Expos and New York Yankees provided some drama for the home crowd.

Due in large part to designated hitter Enzo Aponte, the New York Yankees sunk the Montreal Expos, 6-5. Aponte went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. New York is now 89-52, 7 games up in the Eastern Region North Division.

Tucker Rodriguez drove in one run for New York. The 23-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Dave Black. It was his 46th RBI of the season.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Aponte.
