González Delivers Walk-Off Win for Knights
|
The Las Vegas Knights had to overcome a fine performance from Los Angeles pitcher Kason Faucher to grab a 3-2 win at Big Slick's House of Hardball. Faucher allowed 1 run over 6.1 innings. Las Vegas, with the win, sits at 49-96.
Royce González was the walk-off hero for Las Vegas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Knights right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"Both teams played hard," said Las Vegas manager Kenny Matuszak.
