Baltimore starter Jaylen Lance pitched well against the New York Mets at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-5, in 12 innings. Reliever Paul McKay picked up the win. His record improves to 5-4. Brian Vincent took the loss. The Orioles improved their record to 69-80 with the win over New York.

The Orioles got a clutch hit from first baseman Eddie Himes. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Orioles.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Orioles manager Craig Lauer.
