The Indianapolis Ignition overcame a fine performance by Minnesota second baseman Nick Haftel to defeat the Twins, 6-5, at Target Field. Haftel was 3-4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Ignition.

Indianapolis used a timely hit from Salvador Fernández to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ignition ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"I like our mindset right now," said Indianapolis manager Jose Gomez.
