Milwaukee Edges Cincinnati, 2-1, Baranov Ks 11
|
In a tight game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Cincinnati Reds, pitcher Chris Baranov was terrific on the mound. The Milwaukee left-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. With the victory, the Brewers record now stands at 60-90.
The Reds had little chance against Baranov, who overpowered Cincinnati hitters and struck out 11.
"This was a tough loss," said Cincinnati manager Landon Claramitaro. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
