Toronto Gets 6-1 Win Behind Lefty Leech
The first-place Toronto Blue Jays picked up another win.

Toronto Blue Jays starter Renny Leech pitched effectively against the New York Yankees at Rogers Centre. The left-hander spearheaded his team's 6-1 win. Toronto has an impressive 103-52 record.

Leech, a native of Lake Magdalene, Florida, was dealing all game. He kept New York hitters off-balance, while giving the Blue Jays 8.2 quality innings. Leech threw 120 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 12.
