Young K's 12 En Route to 3-1 Marlins Win
|
Miami and Atlanta duked it out and the Marlins came out victorious.
The Miami Marlins picked up a win at Truist Park, courtesy of Rick Young. The right-hander helped his team stop the Atlanta Braves, 3-1. Billy Ott, credited with the save, is now 4 for 5 in save opportunities.
Young scattered 4 hits over 7 innings for the Marlins. With the win, Young moves to 9-11 on the year with 227 strikeouts.
"I was the aggressor," said Young. "No doubt about it."
Miami is now 73-82, while Atlanta is 93-62.
