The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Las Vegas Knights, 8-4, at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles first baseman Storm Ellis had a superb performance. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. Scott McKinnis, now 4-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. The Dodgers, at 104-56, have now won 5 straight.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the sixth when Ellis, who finished 5th in the WEST in wins above replacement with 5.8 last year, hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Dodgers into the lead, 6-4.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Ellis told the Los Angeles News.
