Braves Win Streak Reaches 6
|
The Atlanta Braves weathered an outstanding game by New York second baseman Oscar García to topple the Yankees, 6-3. García was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Atlanta.
Atlanta used a clutch at-bat from Pan Siena to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Braves ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I like the roll we're on right now," said Siena after the game.
