2B Webber, Lobsters Destroy Spikes, 13-2, to Force Game 7
The Maine Lobsters and the State College Spikes will take the Wild Card Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Lobsters beat the Spikes, 13-2, at Portland Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Maine second baseman T.J. Webber went 2-5 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once.

With one out in the top of the seventh, Pete Rossetti had a chance to do some damage. State College was trailing 10-0, but had the bases loaded. Rossetti came to the plate against André Serrano, and hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough to complete a State College comeback.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Portland Ballpark in Portland.
