Raimondo Leads Crawdads to 8-4 Win Over Growlers
The Hickory Crawdads defeated the Jonesboro Growlers, 8-4. Shortstop Nicky Raimondo deserved a large share of the credit. Raimondo went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Crawdads. Hickory is now 49-50.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Raimondo delivered big-time for Hickory, stroking a dramatic bases-clearing double off Connor Cushman. The game-changing hit put the Crawdads on top, 7-4.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Raimondo told the Hickory Gazette.
