Iker Mesa, who finished 2nd in the NL in on-base percentage with .444 in 2057, knocked in 3 runs to help the Atlanta Braves win, 5-4, over the Fresno Falcons. Atlanta has won 3 straight, while Fresno has lost 3 in a row.

The decisive blow was delivered by Benton Kiser in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Woody Jones to win the game for Atlanta. The home crowd went nuts.
